Distinguished keynote speakers from the World Research Festival 2013 held recently at Marco Polo Hotel, Davao City shared their expertise during the UIC Research Forum themed Educational Trends and Issues: Inputs from International Experts, May 2, AVR 1, Bonifacio Campus.
The experts were Dr. Ken Kawasaki from the University of Technology, Japan; Dr. Sunia Fukofuka from the Adventist International Institute of Advanced Studies Philippines, Kingdom of Tonga; and Dr. Roel P. Anicas from the Saudi Electronics and Home Appliances Institute, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Dr. Ken Kawasaki talked on the topic Anti-Essentialism or Realism—to a Wider Perspective.” Dr. Sunia Fukofuka shared about “Conversation: Glimpses of the Future Student,” while, Dr. Roel P. Anicas lectured on Work Motivation and Organizational Commitment of the Faculty of the Private Higher Education Institutions (PHEIs) in Region 1.
The research forum was an impromptu event. Seizing the opportunity for the UIC research faculty to be audience to international research experts, S. Ma. Marissa Viri, RVM, President; Dr. Renan Limjuco, Research Director, invited the speakers in a short time notice, who cordially obliged.
