In coordination with the UIC Research and Publication Center and Graduate School, the Graduate Research Colloquium Series No. 2 was successfully held on September 7, 2013 at AVR 1 of the University of the Immaculate Conception. The activity is a collaboration of the three HEIs in Davao City, namely, University of Mindanao (UM), Holy Cross of Davao College, Inc. (HCDC) and University of the Immaculate Conception (UIC). Then papaers (4 from UIC, 5 from UM and 1 from HCDC) and 20 posters (10 from UM and 10 from UIC) of multidisciplinary streams were showcased in the event.

The Colloquium is established to provide more venues and opportunities for the faculty researchers from UM, UIC and HCDC to share the findings of their studies and to nurture their respective culture of research through an established congenial linkage involving selected HEIs of Davao City. The first of the series was done last year at HCDC and the third will be hosted by the University of Mindanao next year.
