The University of the Immaculate Conception continues to stride in raising the bar of higher excellence in Pharmacy education as UIC Faculty members took further professional education through the brilliant inputs of two visiting pharmacy professors from Malaysia.
Dr. Ravi Sheshala a Senior Lecturer from the Department of Pharmaceutics from the prestigious Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) of Malaysia, taught UIC Ph.D. Pharmacy students Advanced Biopharmaceutics and Pharmacokinetics and Advanced Drug Informatics last August 2019.
Last February 10-17, 2020, Prof. Dr. Mohd Makmor Bakry, Dean of Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia shared his expertise about Advanced Molecular Pharmacology and Advanced Pharmacotherapy: A Clinical Approach to the University of the Immaculate Conception College of Pharmacy and Chemistry where UIC-CPC collaborated with the Philippine Pharmacists Association — Davao City Chapter to initiate a sharing session with Prof Dr. Mohd Makmor Bakry, Dean, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia on two topics; the Extended Pharmacy Services and Quality Use of Medicine Research and Big Data Opportunities for Pharmacy Practitioners.
Dr. Ravi Sheshala excellently simplified and vividly presented Pharmacokinetics one of the very challenging subjects in Pharmacy. Also, Dr. Bakry depicted his brilliant expertise in drug research and development.
All Ph.D. Pharmacy students of the university deeply treasured all the educational experience that will greatly motivate and augment their knowledge and awareness of the four different fields in pharmacy.
